Welcome 24’ Summer Marine Biology/art camp

WEEK 1  

What to expect. This week we will do some “block printing" with styrofoam plates and ink. We’ll go over the deep sea and the crazy things that live there.

WEEK 2

Is all about the open ocean. Whales, sharks and much more. We’ll cover camouflage and do a monochromatic art project. (I’ll post my demo here)

WEEK 3

This week is about reefs. So much life lives there and so much color. We’ll do a splatter art project with water balloons and create our own reef. 

Week 4

This week we’ll review tide pools. There’s so much life in these little pools left after the tide goes out. We’ll use clay to make our own tide pool filled with creatures.

Week 5

This week is our squid dissection!

Week 6

Field Trip! OdySea Aquarium field trip. Meeting at 9:20am. Our reservation is for 10am. Parents welcome, but must pay their own admission. Click Image for Permission Slip.
